Topic: What do remember....
So the semester is almost over, and we have truly been bombarded with a lot of information. The internet, and the technology that rides along with it, has a lot of things to teach us. Will we remember all of it? Definitely not. Can we retain some of it? Absolutely.
With all the information, websites and tools, how do we remember them all. What the tool does, how and when to use it? One thing I am doing is making a page to record all these sites and tools. From "google earth" to "scrible" to wikis, we have been converted to think technology. Its in our blood, but how do we keep track on the over 200 applications?
The answer, is "Evernote." With this application you can tag websites that you think you will use as a teacher. But it goes one step past just simply having another website to remember. After tagging these wesbites, you can explain them, their significance and when or how to use them in the future. All 200 plus applications can be accessed on one page! Awesome.
Come 4 years from now, you may not remember what you have added to this "Evernote." No worries my friend, there is a simple search option where you can finger through (digitally) all your notes and find what you are looking for.
I would encourage everyone from this class to do so, for its a one stop website for tracking and adding information that you think would be useful in the future.
